It started with a kiss....
But that really is just the start of it. Your wedding day is not just the ceremony, the speeches, the prep and the party, it's the memories of friends and family coming together to celebrate and mark the most important commitment of your life. And when you look back, it is to the living, breathing film that celebrates and commemorates those people, those moments and that love, captured at their best, in a stylish, fun, living, breathing, cinematic movie. As an experienced TV producer and director I turned to shooting weddings as a way of having fun, of sharing in other people's joy, and of being able to enjoy the privilege of documenting these moments to the very highest creative and professional standards. It starts with a kiss, but it ends with the fondest of memories.
OUR FAVOURITE CINEMATIC MOMENTS FROM 2016
And below, some of our favourite films from the last couple of years
KAT & MAX
ANNIE & DAVID
"Thank you so much for all the amazing film. We are absolutely over the moon and all our family and guests have commented on your work saying how beautiful it is!"
STEPH & DAN
RAJPAL & KAMALPREET
LIANNE & JAMES
AISLINN & BEN
"I just wanted to say how thrilled we are with the film. It's so lovely to see our day again. We can't stop watching it. It made my sister cry! Thank you again."
CHLOE AND DAVE
"...honestly, it is magical and i didn't want it to end!!! I look forward to watching it over a glass of bubbly with my husband tonight and really soaking it all in, and probably crying some more happy tears. Thank you again for all your hard work in creating such a beautiful piece."
ANNE AND FRED
Wow! Well that was a wedding and a half! Quite literally! Ann and Fred had booked the wonderful stately home of Cadbury Court near Yeovil in Somerset for a day of games and partying that included zorb football, archery, tennis, golf and roulette, followed by a full day's amazing romantic outdoor wedding ceremony. Imagine Downton Abbey meets The Last Days of Disco and you might just have some idea of how much fun this marathon weekend wedding really was.
NICK AND SARAH
A beautiful couple, a classic car, the seaside and a castle! What's not to like? A fantastic day with fantastic guests, complete with un-English good weather. Nick and Sarah made the perfect choice of venue with Lulworth Castle in Dorset, and more importantly, in choosing each other.
LUCY AND RODDY
Lucy: "Oh my God! I think I've watched it about ten times! It's SO good. Thank you so much."
Lucy and Roddy's relaxed Surrey wedding in Cookham Dean was the perfect chilled party of friends and family in the intimate and romantic setting of the Sanctum on the Green. Childhood sweethearts, their easy-going characters and the love of their close friends made this one of the sweetest weddings of 2016.
RACHEL AND SIMON
Rachel and Simon's Norfolk wedding was planned down to the last detail and, astonishingly, went perfectly and beautifully to plan, including both the shooting of our traditional and romantic main event film, and the fun marryoke video they also asked for.
ZANA AND ROXANNE
"You've been there for me when I was nothing, when I had nothing. My soulmate, my best friend, the love of my life". Impossible not to feel a tear forming when we heard those words from Zana as he held the hand of his beautiful bride Roxanne in this exquisitely orchestrated, lavishly-styled, sophisticated and romantic wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond, London.
KATRINA AND BEN
"We want you to do our video AND our photos." Well that's just the kind of compliment that makes us blush, and just the kind of service we love to provide, shooting with our top team at one of London's most glamourous and historic venues, the wonderful One Whitehall Place in Westminster, amidst the imposing shadow of doric columns and the Victorian gravitas of the Gladstone Library.
MARC AND SHARON
"It's a fairy-tale romance, I'll admit, a whirlwind ride I don't think I'll ever come down from." Marc and Sharon's traditional Jewish wedding at Wanstead synagogue was intimate, respectful and full of family warmth, topped only by the wonderful fun-packed reception at Valentines Mansion, complete with traditional songs and dancing and the ubiquitous carrying of the couple on chairs.
ROSS AND FIONA
"We'd really like you to shoot our wedding film. The only thing is, can you shoot it tomorrow?" We love a challenge, even a last minute challenge. And while preparation is something we pride ourselves on, we're always ready to roll at a moment's notice. Ross and Fiona were married by Fiona's brother at St Matthew's Church in Ealing, followed by a warm, romantic reception, complete with piper, at the lovely Pembroke Lodge in Richmond.
ANGUS AND HOLLY
MARK AND ASHLEY
Ashley and Mark were married in Manning's Heath golf club in Horsham, Kent. From the rustic charm of Fuller's Cottage, to the warmth of friends and family, this perfect summer's day was rounded off by one of the most intimate and loving ceremonies, and one of the most moving speeches we have ever heard, from Mark.
DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART
Possibly the most fun you can have at a wedding with a camera, this marryoke film for Rachel and Simon was hilarity from beginning to end. Using my years of experience as a promo director, shooting and cutting it was hardly work at all.
AHMET AND OZLEM
Vegas Showgirls, Roulette tables, Belly dancers and a huge party of Turkish Cypriot friends and family - what's not to like?! Ahmet and Ozlem's London Wedding at the famous Kensington Roof Gardens club, two days after Christmas was warm, funny, slightly crazy, and definitely a night to remember.
UVIE AND TOM
Tom and Uvie, headed out from Holland Park to tie the knot at the historic St John's Church in Smithfields, scene of one of the weddings from the film Four Weddings and a Funeral. The reception was at the imposing and beautiful St Pancras Hotel, complete with African drummers, and the best soul band we have ever heard.
Whatever your budget, whatever your theme, whatever your style, we will put together the most cinematic and romantic film of your special day.
